The Cameroonian forward became the second player to join the London side from Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala. The 32-year-old played under Chelsea manager at Inter Milan and he's happy to be reunited with his former boss.
"I am very happy to be here but also anxious because I want to get playing as soon as possible," the former African footballer of the year said. "It wasn't a hard decision. I saw the qualities Chelsea have, and I was very happy with Jose Mourinho before, so when the opportunity came, I was very happy to take it."
The striker joined Anzhi Makhachkala in to become the highest-paid player in the world. He made 71 apperances for the Russian side and netted 36 times.
